Hey there!

I’m Katrina, the creator behind ShelfStyle, a Kindle case and book accessory small business. The idea for this shop came to me during one of the hardest chapters of my life—while sitting beside my daughter's incubator in the NICU after arriving early at 27 weeks. Emmy spent the first 67 days of her life in the NICU, and in those long, emotional hours, reading became one of the few things that brought me comfort and steadiness. As I flew through books during this time, my husband thoughtfully gifted me a Kindle. I searched for a Kindle case that felt like “me,” something beautiful and uplifting, but I could never find one I truly loved. Once Emmy came home I decided to create them myself! What started as a small idea during a difficult season has grown into a business built on creativity, resilience, and a love of reading. I hope my designs bring you the same sense of calm, joy, and escape they brought me.
